There are two things I would happily snatch from Luca Rubinacci’s incredible wardrobe(s). The first, this floppy wide brimmed hat. It harks back to the italian peasant goat-herd, tending his flock on a mountainside, immersed in nature yet simultaneously very well-dressed and embodying what would nowadays be a style that the sartorialist, Mister Mort and Tommy Ton would be eager to snap. 

The second piece would be any one of his outrageous waistcoats. The designs on the back of some of these are a wonder to behold, an when one stops and thinks about the hours that must have gone into creating such a design and then applying it to silk, it really does make your jaw drop!
